Every other piece of your marketing points back to your website. A Google search, a Facebook post, a friend’s referral, a truck wrap: sooner or later, people land on your site and decide in a few seconds whether to stay. We design sites that make that decision easy.

What a Lafayette business website actually needs to do

Most of the sites we’re asked to replace aren’t ugly. They’re just unclear. A visitor can’t tell at a glance what the business does, which parts of Acadiana it serves, or how to get in touch. On a phone in a parking lot off Ambassador Caffery, that’s enough to lose them.

A good small-business website answers a few questions fast. What do you do? Do you serve where I live? Can I trust you? What do I do next? Everything else should support those answers.

It also has to be built so Google can read it. A beautiful site that loads slowly, hides its text inside images, or crams every service onto one page will struggle in search no matter how good it looks. We build with search in mind from the first sketch, so you’re not retrofitting it later.

What we do

What’s included in our website design service

  • A discovery session about your business, your customers, and what you want the site to accomplish
  • A page plan (sitemap) with dedicated pages for each core service and the areas you serve
  • Custom design on WordPress, so you’re not locked into a proprietary platform
  • Mobile-first layouts checked on real phones, not just a desktop browser
  • Plain-language copywriting that sounds like you, or editing help if you’d rather write it yourself
  • On-page SEO setup: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and schema markup
  • Clear calls to action and contact forms that route to the right inbox
  • Analytics and conversion tracking so we can see which pages bring in inquiries
  • Speed and image optimization before launch
  • Launch support, including redirects from your old pages so you keep the search visibility you’ve already earned

You own your site and your domain. If we ever part ways, everything goes with you. More on our approach on our website design page.

Who we build sites for

We mostly work with service businesses where the website has to earn trust before anyone reaches out: law firms, insurance agencies, medical and dental practices, PT and chiropractic clinics, and contractors and home service companies. A law firm’s site needs different things than a physical therapy clinic’s, and we design for the difference.

We also limit ourselves to one client per niche per area, so the site we build for you is never up against another site we built down the road.

How a website project works with us

1. Discovery

We talk through your services, your best customers, and what frustrates you about your current site. I like to see the questions customers already ask you, because those usually become your strongest pages.

2. Plan and design

We map out the pages, then design the key layouts for your review.

3. Content and build

We write or polish the copy, build the site, and set up tracking and SEO basics as we go.

4. Review and launch

You review a private staging version, we make revisions, and then we launch with redirects and final checks in place.

5. After launch

We stay available for updates and improvements. Many clients pair a new site with ongoing SEO in Lafayette or Google Ads management so the site has steady traffic to work with.

FAQ

Website design questions we hear often

How long does it take to build a website?

Most small-business sites take several weeks from kickoff to launch. The biggest factor is usually content: how quickly copy, photos, and feedback come together. We’ll give you a realistic timeline after discovery.

Will my new website be built for SEO?

Yes. Every site we build includes on-page SEO setup, clean structure, fast loading, schema markup, and redirects from your old pages. Ongoing SEO is a separate service, but the foundation is in place from day one.

Do I own my website when it’s finished?

Yes. You own your domain, your content, and your site. We build on WordPress so you’re never locked into a platform only we can access.

Can you redesign my existing site instead of starting over?

Sometimes. If your current site has a solid structure, a refresh may make more sense than a full rebuild. We’ll look at it honestly and recommend whichever option fits your business.

Do you write the content, or do I?

Either works. We can write your pages based on a conversation with you, or edit and organize copy you’ve drafted. The goal is a site that sounds like your business and speaks to local customers.
